Should have posted earlier in the day. . . a pre beta release of wmp 11 was leaked to the internet earlier today.Though the wmp 11 pre release beta was slated for a May 17th release, things turned out differently.
The installation does require Windows Genuine Advantage Validation, but a workaround has already been found.
Unlike older versions; wmp 11 has a better emphasis on music management, instant search (ala iTunes) and includes a feature to browse photos.
