Viacom and YouTube have reached a licensing deal. After Viacom asked the popular video-sharing site YouTube to remove much of their popular content, including clips of The Daily Show, Colbert Report, and Sponge Bob Square Pants. YouTube swiftly replied by taking down all of the clips pertaining to Viacom’s request. But now the companies have reached a mutually beneficial agreement that will grant YouTube the license to play the Comedy Central, etc. content again.
